Serbian Government Delegation Visits LANACO

A delegation from the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Government of the Republic of Serbia visited the LANACO Technology Center in Banja Luka. Minister Bela Balint, Chief of Staff Sava Stambolić, and Special Adviser to the Minister Dr. Ivica Đalović met with LANACO CEO Nebojša Ninić.

The main topic of the meeting was potential cooperation between LANACO and institutions of the Republic of Serbia in the field of artificial intelligence. The discussion explored how AI solutions could improve the work of public institutions, particularly in areas where technology can deliver higher-quality services for citizens.

The participants also considered opportunities to launch joint research projects focused on artificial intelligence.

Mr. Ninić presented the development capabilities and experience LANACO has built through complex IT projects, along with its activities related to artificial intelligence. The discussion also covered the company’s extensive experience with the public sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which includes complex information systems and the introduction of new technologies into existing processes.

“Artificial intelligence creates significant opportunities for cooperation between the IT industry, the scientific community, and public institutions. We want to combine LANACO’s development capabilities and experience in developing and applying new technologies with the needs of institutions to create solutions that will improve services that matter to all citizens,” said Nebojša Ninić.

The discussions will continue in the coming period to define specific projects with potential for cooperation. Their implementation will provide a foundation for stronger long-term ties between LANACO and institutions of the Republic of Serbia, as well as broader adoption of artificial intelligence across the public sector.
